City Color Cosmetics Haul & Review + Swatches

3:30 AM

City Color Cosmetics was nice enough to send me a little package on the mail. I am so thankful for this because they seen potential in my work and I try so hard every day to put out great content for my followers. They sent me some Metallic Shadow Pots & some Matte Single Eyeshadows. City Color is an affordable brand with great quality, so I highly recommend them!

First let's get into these shadows. Their Matte Single Shadows are $4.99 each. Which is a great affordable price. They feel very velvety. They blend flawlessly and they do not crease, at least for me any how. I love their color range. I don't have colors like these in my collection at all. They are very pigmented and a little goes a long way. I really love these shadows and highly recommend them. There are currently 12 shades available and they are all so diverse. You can create SO many looks with these! And you get a good amount of product with these shadows: 0.085 oz. / 2.4 g!
The packaging is sleek and great for storing in an easy place. Plus, the shadows are pretty protected by the hard plastic container as well, which I really like to have for eyeshadows.

They sent me 5 Shadow Pots. I already had White Gold so I just added it in to show you that one as well. White Gold and White Pearl are Mousse Eyeshadows which are different from the Metallic Pots. I use these two as highlighters. I love using them in my inner corners and on my cheek bones. They are very light weight, last all day, and blend effortlessly. The Metallic Shadow Pots have a thicker consistency. They are not quite as light weight, but they aren't heavy. They are absolutely amazing for a quick all over the lid shade for a look that looks like it took hours, but it was really one swipe of your brush. These pots blend extremely well with your crease colors, and they last all day long. I do suggest using a primer for these. Since they are a tad bit thicker than the mousse shadows, they will crease a little. I really love how quick and easy this product is to use.
The Mousse Shadows, White Gold and White Pearl, are $5.99 each (Net Wt. 0.093 oz. / 2.64 g). Their Metallic Shadow Pots are $7.99 each (Net Wt. 0.092 oz. / 2.6 g). The packaging is extremely cute! I adore these. They are also easy to store if you have a large makeup collection. They currently have 6 shades in their Metallic Shadows Pots Collection; White Pearl and White Gold are sold separately.
NOTE: I love applying these as winged eyeliner! Just use a small angled brush.
